Get ready for a wagging good time at College Park Main Street's Dog Days of Summer, proudly presented by Don Mealy Sport Subaru! Join us on June 29 for a paw-some day brimming with activities to celebrate our beloved furry friends. From a fun-filled kids zone to showcasing the best local businesses, this event promises tail-wagging fun for the entire family.
Tito’s Quirkiest Canine Contest
Don't miss out on the highlight of the event—the Tito’s Quirkiest Canine Contest, where your dog could strut their stuff and win a $500 grand prize for being crowned Orlando's quirkiest canine!
Giving Back to the Community
This event isn't just about having fun; it's also about giving back. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Pixel Fund. Their mission is to save lives that would otherwise be lost to the shelter system by providing shelter, food, and unconditional love. They are committed to finding forever homes for their fur-babies. Completely volunteer-based, The Pixel Fund works tirelessly to make sure each animal gets a second chance at life.

Keeping It Safe and Fun for All!
The safety of our furry friends and their humans is our top priority. To ensure a pawsitively wonderful experience, we have a couple of important guidelines:
- No flex leashes will be allowed. To keep everyone safe and avoid any potential tangles, please use standard fixed-length leashes.
- All well-behaved, vaccinated dogs are welcome. Please ensure your pup's vaccinations are up to date to protect the health and happiness of all event-goers.

Kid's Activity Zone
Dog Days of Summer is all about having fun in the sun and includes loads of activities for the family to enjoy:
- Bouncing Bungees
- Interactive Rock Wall
- Orbitron
- Vertical Rush
- Criss-Cross Collision
- Soft Axe Throw
- Inflatable Hoops
- Airbrush Tattoo
- Balloon Animals
Individual tickets and unlimited activity wristbands will be available for purchase by credit card at the event, but you can Skip the Line and can purchase an Unlimited Activity Wristband in advance for $20 at the link above or for $30 on the day of the event!
Tito's Quirkiest Canine Contest
Do you have a quirky canine who’s ready to shine? The contest starts at 12:00 p.m. Registered contestants will earn points for:
- Best Dressed: Creative costume or awesome attribute
- Silliest Trick: Your pup's funniest and most entertaining trick (or lack thereof)
- Goofiest Personality Trait: Share with the judges what makes your dog uniquely hilarious
All pre-registered contestants will receive a limited-edition contest bandana. The winner will receive a $500 cash prize! A portion of the $10 registration fee benefits The Pixel Fund and its mission to support animal rescue efforts in Central FL.
Dining and Shopping
Be sure to visit the shops and market vendors on the Drive for unique gifts, a treat for your furry family members or a little something for yourself!
Need a quick snack, a full meal or a signature cocktail? You will have a wide variety of restaurants and food trucks to choose from... so come hungry!
There are plenty of shops and restaurants on the Drive both north and south of the day's activities so stretch your legs and take a stroll to explore it all.
Where
Edgewater Drive, from Smith to Winter Park Street, will be CLOSED on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. College Park residents are encouraged to bike or walk as parking will be limited.
Admission
Admission to walk throughout the event all along Edgewater Drive is FREE! Kid's Activity Zone participation will require a ticket per activity or an activity wristband for unlimited fun. Skip the line and buy an unlimited activity wristband ahead for $20 at the link above. Tickets and $30 wristbands will be sold at the event as well.
